Alan is highly regarded for his work in property, company and commercial law, acting for small to medium-sized businesses and private individuals. Having managed an SME, he understands the challenges and opportunities business owners face.
Many of Alan’s clients are based overseas. He has particular experience in de-enveloping as well as placing properties into offshore corporate structures. Alan works closely with property investors and developers, advising them on the legal aspects of their portfolios and with business owners dealing with their company and commercial law requirements.
One of Alan’s key strengths is negotiating – having run a business himself, he knows how to broker a good deal. He is also meticulous in his drafting, as he knows most disputes can be avoided if the contract is robust and fair to all parties.
